Thyme bath salt – Cough relief

Thyme oil is one of the strongest antioxidant oils, and has been used as a medicinal herb since ancient times for its properties that support the immune, respiratory, digestive, nervous and other body systems. Thyme oil has antiseptic, antibacterial, antispasmodic, antihypertensive and sedative properties.

Thyme oil combined with our blend of Dead Sea salt, magnesium salt, and carbon dioxide extracted during the bath has wonderful strengthening, detoxifying, and healing properties!

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

STILL SEA SALT – Rich in minerals, it deeply cleanses and nourishes the skin.

MAGNESIUM SULPHATE – Eases muscle tension, acts against painful muscle spasms and promotes recovery.

THyme ETERIAL OIL-removes lymphatic congestion and helps with chest and throat infections that cause a cold or cough. A 2011 study conducted at the Medical University of Lodz tested the reaction of thyme oil to 120 bacterial strains isolated from patients with oral, respiratory and genitourinary infections. The results of the experiments showed that thyme oil exhibited extremely strong activity against all clinical strains. Thyme oil even showed good efficacy against antibiotic-resistant strains.

OLIVE OIL – Nourishes and moisturizes the skin.

ROSE AND RED HONEY FLATS – Moisturize and nourish the skin, relax and soothe.

When bathing with our salt, a chemical reaction takes place between citric acid and sodium bicarbonate. The product is released carbon dioxide (bubbles form), which acts as a gentle massage for the skin, improving circulation and relaxing muscles. The greater concentration of CO2 in the inhaled air increases the concentration of oxygen in the blood, which promotes better oxygenation of the tissues and an overall feeling of refreshment and increased energy.

Add 1-2 tablespoons per bath and let it dissolve.
