My name is Anna Szczygielska and I am a certified biotechnologist. At BIOSOMA, I strive to bring biology into skin care! You can always read the ingredient list of a cosmetic product to find out what is in its composition. Although it may seem complicated, I try to give a list of active ingredients along with their effects so that you have a better idea. In addition to plant extracts, you will find products of biotechnological origin, such as various ferments, amino acids, which were created in the process of synthesis through beneficial bacteria or yeast.
My recipes are simple. I go on the assumption that the less is more. My knowledge of chemistry and biology allows me to easily navigate the vast amount of raw materials available and select ingredients so that they work synergistically and their effect is greater.
The active ingredients are highly concentrated, but of course within reason. After taking a class on the toxicology of substances, the quoted words of Paracelsus still ring in my head:“Everything is poison and nothing is poison, for only the dose makes the poison.” As a certified safety assessor, I choose appropriate and high concentrations already at the formulation stage.

BIOSOMA products are safe, non-allergenic, and made in small batches so that they are always fresh.
In the interest of the environment, I use mostly glass packaging, limiting the use of plastic.
